Privacy Policy

• Your account email address and sign-in identity.
• Audio you choose to record, whether by tapping record or by turning on ambient capture.
• Transcripts, summaries, moments, people and voice samples created from those recordings.
• Basic device information needed to deliver notifications you have opted into.

Your audio is transcribed and summarised so you can search, review and ask questions about your own conversations. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with other users.

To turn audio into text and meaning we use trusted processors for speech recognition, speaker recognition and language understanding. They process the audio on our instruction only and are not permitted to keep it for their own purposes.

Recording conversations may require the consent of everyone present, depending on where you live. You are responsible for obtaining that consent before you record. Octobo provides a pause control and an always-visible listening indicator so others can see when capture is on.

Recordings are stored in private, encrypted storage tied to your account. Only you can read them. Access is enforced at the database level, not just in the app.

• Pause Octobo for 15 minutes, an hour, or until you resume.
• Delete any single recording, transcript or memory.
• Use “Forget everything” to erase all recordings, memories and people in one action.
• Request full account deletion by writing to octobo@nevika.ai.

We keep your content until you delete it or close your account. Deleted content is removed from live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

Octobo is not intended for anyone under 16.

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
